TIPS FOR HOSTING OUTDOOR EVENTS

Outdoor events can be famously charming - or they can become a heartbreaking adventure you want to forget. Fortunately, there are many things you can do to prepare and this is an extra preparation that can make an outdoor event a success.

Bad weather is not the only reason to install a party tent. The summer sun can also hit your guests, creating sunburns and unpleasant heat exhaustion. The tents offer a welcoming shade - a retreat. The addition of side boxes is also useful if windy or wet conditions are expected. Just remember that closed tents will need fans to keep things from getting inside. And if the rains are on the menu, make sure the tent is set up in a raised place where the water will leak, not in the tent.

Catering

Choose an experienced caterer who works in all kinds of weather conditions and is familiar with performing avoidance programs. The right equipment to keep hot foods and cold foods cold in unpredictable outdoor conditions will be necessary. A good caterer will also have good ideas for season-specific foods. For example, marzipan or the more robust fondant is more resistant to a cake in hot weather than buttercream icing. Although you may have found a wonderful place for your outdoor event, there is a "behind the scenes" logistics that can contribute to the success of your events. Make sure there is parking nearby for guests. Some places may require you to transfer your guests from another location if parking is not available.
